Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas discussed with his Tunisian counterpart Mohamed Moncef Marzouki in a telephone conversation today the latest developments related to the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip, and ways to end this aggression to save the lives of the Palestinian people.
Abbas also received a telephone call from British Foreign Secretary William Hague.
During the contact, the Palestinian president underlined the need for an immediate cease-fire in order to save the lives of the Palestinian people, and to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
