Arab League's customs

The 10th meeting of the Arab League's customs and information committee started here on Sunday under Shaza bin Fares with representatives of Arab customs authorities attending.
The four-day meeting tackles ways to unify measures applied in the Arab states at customs outlets after the establishment of the Arab Customs Union, Dr Mahmoud Fatallah, the Arab League's customs unions file officer, said.
An agreement on the proposed unified customs bill and a large part of the executive charter has been agreed upon and the committee is unifying measures to be applied at customs outlets for commodities, he added.
