A suspected Al-Qaeda suicide bomber killed 10 soldiers in an attack Thursday on a checkpoint in southeastern Yemen, a military official said.
The assailant detonated his explosives-laden car at an army post on the western outskirts of the city of Mukalla in the province of Hadramawt, the official said.
The attack came on the same day as at least 32 people were reported dead in a suicide bombing that targeted a gathering of Shiite rebel supporters in the capital Sanaa.
