Global oil demand growth is expected to accelerate in 2014 on increased consumption from Europe and the United States, the International Energy Agency (IEA) said on Wednesday. The IEA said that global oil demand growth was now expected to rise by 145,000 barrels per day (bpd) to 1.2 million barrels per day (mbd) for 2013. A further gain of 1.2 mbd is forecast for 2014, to reach 92.4 mbd.
