Titled "Makeup Art", the workshop focused on the importance of utilising makeup to support theatre actors while performing their roles. It presented and supervised by Makeup Artist Siddiqa Al-Ansari.
Al-Ansari discussed with the participants the importance of the art of makeup in adding reality to the characters and creating them. She also spoke on the different styles of makeup used on theatres, which include makeup used for age reduction or vice versa, in addition to wounds makeup.
The workshop came within a series of workshops and seminars that are held as part of the organising committee's efforts to provide the necessary support to the participants in the festival by introducing them to different types of arts and means to overcome any obstacles that may face them in their careers.
The organising committee announced that the workshops are open for all culture and arts enthusiasts to participate in, highlighting that the workshops are organised early to benefit the participants in the festival and allow them sufficient time to prepare for it.
