The exhibitions on the heritage and wedding customs in the region of Zibans, which was organized in Tissemsilt (280 km south-west of Algiers) as part of the cultural week of Biskra province, drew a lot of visitors who came to discover the richness and authenticity of this region. This event, which is being organized since Monday, allows the visitors to discover the remains and mausoleums of this region, such as those of Sidi Zerzour, Sidi Khaled and Okba Ibn Nafaa Mosque. Through photos and videos, the visitors were able to contemplate Roman sites and rock engravings of the regions of Ain Zaatout, Guentra and Ouled Djellal. The exhibitions are also devoted to the life and works of several scholars, including Sheikh Lakhdari, Tayeb El Okbi, novelist Ahmed Reda Houhou, Omar Bernaoui and Abou El Kacem Khemmar. Highlighting the natural beauty of Biskra, these exhibitions are marked by the featuring of traditional outfits, various handicrafts, pottery and paintings by artist Khaled Nouri.
