A unique collection of Empire-style and decorative arts, which are symbolic of the legendary of Napoleon I and early 19th century Europe, will be shown for the first time in Macao Museum of Art from April 18 to July 14.As a highlight of this year\'s Le French May arts festival, the exhibition will present a selection of 125 of the finest masterpieces that adorned the Napoleon palaces during the First French Empire (1804-1855), Consul General of France of Hong Kong and Macao said in Macao Wednesday.To be revealed to the public for the first time will be furniture, tapestries, candelabras, chandeliers and pendulum clocks, among other treasures which have been preserved in the French Senate.Le French May arts festival this year will be launched in Hong Kong and Macao since April 17, and 28 exhibitions, 50 performances and 50 screenings will be presented during more than two months, covering the wildest choice of artistic disciplines.Created in 1993, Le French May arts festival has attracted over 3 million participants and spectators.
