Antiquities Minister Mohamed Ibrahim, Cairo University President Hossam Kamel and other senior officials will open on Saturday a five-day international conference on prehistoric archaeology in Arab countries. The conference will discuss boosting awareness of the importance of excavation in prehistoric archaeology sites in the Arab countries. The conference will be held in the Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo University. As many as 150 researchers from several Arab countries will participate in the conference in which they will submit their papers in Arabic, English and French.
