More than 12,500 people visited the Dawa exhibition in Baha on the first three days. The exhibition opened on Tuesday. Among the 75 pavilions, the Haj and Umrah Pavilion is drawing huge number of visitors. A special section called “Gift for Haj and Umrah pilgrims,” set up by the Makkah Charity Society No. 499 is the major attraction at the pavilion. Muhammad Al-Amer, supervisor of the pavilion, said that this section displays various gifts being given to the Haj and Umrah pilgrims during the pilgrimage seasons. He said the pavilion enables the visitors to get a glimpse of all the relevant books, CDs, videos and other study materials to know more about Haj and Umrah rituals, in addition to various services being extended to the pilgrims. On the fifth day of the exhibition, noted preacher Naimul Rahman Muhammad Yunus will deliver a lecture in Urdu for expatriates today. Baha Gov. Prince Mishari bin Saud opened the 10-day exhibition, titled “Kun Daeyan” or Be a Preacher. About 75 government and private organizations and agencies are taking part in the event with their separate pavilions, showcasing modern dawa materials, including books, CDs and videos in various languages. This is the 15th edition of the exhibition organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Dawa and Guidance. From Arab News
