A ten-day book fair kicked off on Saturday at the hall of the Arab Cultural Center in Sweida Province embracing about one thousand varied titles. The fair's Supervisor, Omar al-Sayigh told SANA that the subjects of the exhibited books are rich and they satisfy different tastes as they deal with various issues in the fields of policy, economy, philosophy, the Arab and international literature, myths, administration, media, education, culture and health. He underlined the importance of holding such fairs regularly to serve the readers and to spread the general culture as it constitutes an opportunity for getting acquainted with the latest publication and for enriching the personal library.
