New sci-fi novel

What if the sacred writings of ancient civilizations were literally correct and the human race is a hybrid species, born of earthly women and ancient immortal male warriors who fell from heaven? Virtually all the world’s ancient sacred writings, including the Bible in Genesis, narrate this telling of mankind’s genealogy. Author Daniel Ricardo Casias gives one possible answer to that question from the point of view of Rico, one of the original Sons of Heaven who fell to Earth in ancient times to father our civilization.
Casias invites readers to step into Rico’s shoes in his new sci-fi novel, “Daughters of Earth, Sons of Heaven” (published by AuthorHouse).
The Sons of Heaven, a group of immortal alien warriors, fell from the skies and landed on Earth in a time before civilization. Shortly after they fell, they began procreating with the women of Earth, which would eventually lead to the birth of modern man. While some of the offspring carried with them the seeds of civilization, those of cooperation, understanding and compassion, given to them by the Daughters of Earth, others retained the hunger for flesh of the meat eating apes from where we came and turned into cannibalistic monsters that craved flesh.
Throughout “Daughters of Earth, Sons of Heaven,” readers watch as Rico, the last Son of Heaven, struggles to combat Tarquez, a flesh-starved immortal being who constantly visits upon humankind war and chaos to be able to feed the flesh eaters need for flesh. Rico does this while he grieves the short life of his loved ones and the problems of his own immortality.
