The Japan Festival 2013 will be held at Myanmar Convention Center (MCC) in Yangon aimed at boosting bilateral trade between Myanmar and Japan, according to exhibition sources Friday. Scheduled from March 9 to 11, the Japan Festival, organized by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO-Yangon), will introduce quality Japan brand products and Japanese traditions to the people at one place. More than 100 companies will display their products covering electronics, machinery, motorcycles, automobile, personal goods, household goods, pharmaceuticals, solar energy-used products, toilet products, cosmetics and foodstuffs. On the second day of the festival, the seven-member Japanese girl band Berryz Kobo, which had received the Best Asian Newcomer Award at the Asia Song Festival, will also stage their performance.
