The \"100% Made in Italy, Italian perfumes in Greece\" festival has been inaugurated today by Claudio Glaentzer, the Italian ambassador in Athens. The event lasts until May 27 and has been set up in the \'Konstantinos Kavafis\' room at the \"Technopolis\" cultural centre. It has been organised by the Italian-Greek Chamber of Commerce, with the backing of the Italian embassy. The event combines the exhibition of Italian industrial products with the presentation of a show by companies from the nursery gardening sector, a statement from the embassy says. A series of events will also be held during the festival, including floral art composition demonstrations and education and environmental activities. One of the most eye-catching initiatives is entitled \"Creating and maintaining a garden in our school\", a course prepared by qualified agronomists and aimed at teachers and pupils from the local elementary school.(ANSAmed).
