The 13th Gulf Radio and TV Festival, to be held March 24-28 in Bahrain, is to pay tribute to Algerian actress Malika Belbey, Bahrain's media have said. Graduated from the Algiers School of Dramatic Arts, the actress has played in several television serials, like "The Player," "Last Memories" and "Rebellion of Morals." Awarded many prizes, including Algerian Best Actress Award, Malika Belbey started her career in theatre by acting in "Nedjma," adapted from the novel written by Kateb Yacine and directed by Ziani Cherif Ayad. She also played in the "Exploded Cave," adapted from Yamina Mechakra and directed by Ahmed Benaissa.
