The death toll in a house collapse incident in the governorate of Sohag rose to two persons.

Six other people were injured. The victims are from one family.

According to initial investigation, a three-storey house that was built without concrete structure collapsed in the town of Shandawil, near the city of El-Maragha, Sohag.

Police and ambulances rushed to the place and moved bodies and injured people to nearby hospital.

The prosecution was informed with the accident to initiate an investigation.
