Andy Murray cruised into the second round of the French Open on Monday, defeating Argentine Facundo Arguello 6-3, 6-3, 6-1.

The Scot, who has now won 11 consecutive matches on clay, will face either Canadian world number 53 Vasek Pospisil or Portugal's 44th-ranked Joao Sousa in the next round.
