The National Olympic Committee is participating in the Olympic Games in London alongside 30 sportspersons representing the UAE in six sports. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, President of the National Olympic Committee thanked the UAE leadership for its support to the sports to consolidate the UAE’s position at the international sports forums, notably, the Olympic Games. “The presence of our delegation in this huge international and historic gathering is a source of pride, especially for the sports associations that played greater role in the qualification of the UAE sportspersons to the Olympic Games”.
