The United States won the Olympic gold medal Saturday in the women\'s 400-meter medley relay. Missy Franklin, Rebecca Soni, Dana Vollmer and Allison Schmitt, all of them with individual gold medals at these Olympics combined to set a world record in the time of 3:52.05. Combined, that group won 12 gold medals at the London Games. Australia won the silver medal and Japan captured the bronze.
