Hibernian blew their chance to go top of the Scottish Premier League as they surrendered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Eoin Doyle's opener and a terrific strike from David Wotherspoon had given the home side a comfortable advantage. However, Conor Pepper pulled one back before Richie Foran grabbed a late equaliser for Inverness, who remain without a league win this season. Goals by Gary Hooper and Victor Wanyama gave Celtic a comfortable 2-0 win over bottom side Dundee. Visiting goalkeeper Robert Douglas had earlier saved a Scott Brown penalty before Hooper hammered home the opener in the 38th minute. Wanyama then fired in from distance after four minutes of the second half. Cillian Sheridan scored his first goal for Kilmarnock as they defeated St. Mirren 3-1 at Rugby Park. Sheridan opened the scoring after 26 minutes and James Fowler doubled the hosts' lead 12 minutes into the second half. A wonderful individual effort from James Dayton on the hour mark added to St. Mirren's misery, and despite Paul McGowan's deflected consolation the hosts held on. Callum Paterson netted twice as Hearts claimed their first win since the opening day of the campaign by beating Dundee United 3-0. Paterson's strikes sandwiched an Arvydas Novikovas' goal as Hearts bounced back from consecutive defeats by Dundee and St. Mirren. Ross County's 40-match unbeaten run came to an end with a 2-1 defeat by ten-man St. Johnstone. Liam Craig gave Saints the lead, but the Perth side went a player down a couple of minutes later when Rowan Vine was sent off. Sam Morrow hit a deserved equaliser for County in the 68th minute, but Saints grabbed a vital second in the 85th minute through Frazer Wright. FIFA
