Two explosions in downtown Ho Chi Minh City have killed 10 people, seven of them from the same family, local media reported Sunday. The incident took place just after midnight local time at the home of Le Minh Phuong, 58, who worked as a special effects artist for a Vietnamese film company, newspaper Tuoi Tre said. Phuong and six members of his family were killed in the blast. Local residents said they heard two explosions within five minutes of each other and discovered three houses in flames and the walls collapsed. By midday 10 bodies had been recovered, newspaper Thanh Nien reported.
