At least two passengers were killed and seven injured when a microbus overturned on a desert highway in Egypt, official news agency MENA reported Saturday.The microbus overturned after hitting a tree on the Ismailia- Suez desert highway, killing two brothers.The seven wounded, whose injuries varied from cuts, bruises, fractures to concussions, were taken to the nearby Ismailia Public Hospital.On March 15, six passengers were killed and five others rescued after a microbus overturned into a canal in Upper Egypt\'s governorate of Sohag, some 400 km south of the capital Cairo.On the same day, another six were killed and eight injured in a car crash on Ismailia-Zagazig desert highway north of Cairo.According to the transportation ministry, road accidents kill around 10,000 people every year in Egypt. Lack of security monitoring systems, improper road maintenance and irresponsible behaviors are behind the high rate of road accidents
