Palestinian boy fatally shot, others injured in Jenin camp clashes

A Palestinian young man was killed and five others were injured in clashes with the Israeli army in Jenin camp, according to Palestinian medical and local sources.

The body of Mohamed Mahmoud Abu Khalifa, 16, and the injured were carried to a government hospital after the occupation troops had withdrawn from the camp Sunday morning, according to the sources.

Fierce clashes erupted at the camp with the occupation troops which stormed the place at dawn Sunday opening fire and firing tear gas cylinders on houses of Palestinians killing Abu Khalifa with a bullet in the back and injuring fire others, local sources told Palestinian News Agency WAFA.

Fatah Movement mourned the martyr and announced that his funeral will be held after noon prayers Sunday. An all-out trade strike has been announced to mourn Abu Khalifa.
