Israeli army cordons off West Bank village

Israeli troops cordoned off a village in the West Bank over what the Israeli army alleged a repeated throwing of stones at a military checkpoint outside the village.

Quoted by Israeli media, the army said the closure of the gate of Nabi Salih, north of Ramallah, will continue until further notice.

The gate leads to several other villages and towns in the area.

Meantime, Israeli bulldozers demolished a Palestinian house in Lod town, alleging it had been built without a permit.
