President Abdel Fattah El Sisi

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Thursday stressed his country's keenness on providing a conducive environment for investment.
In a speech to attendees at a dinner banquet late Thursday, Sisi said that the aim behind taking part in the meetings of the annual World Economic Forum was to convey a message that Egypt has restored stability, said the presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef.
Egypt aims to fix its ailing economy and prove an attractive destination for foreign investment despite political turmoil in the region and in the country, the president added.
The Egyptian government seeks removing obstacles that face investors as well as combating bureaucracy and corruption, he noted.
The dinner banquet, held by chairmen of international companies interested in investment opportunities in Egypt at the honor of President Sisi, was attended by 70 global figures and businessmen, mainly Canadian foreign minister.
