Zayed Giving Convoys invites Emirati medical teams to volunteer

The Zayed Giving Convoys has invited Emirati medical teams to volunteer in treating the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh.

Imran Mohammed Abdullah, Head of the Charity Projects Sector at Dar Al Ber Society, who is also the head of the Volunteering Emirati Medical Team, said the Zayed Giving Convoys seeks to get competent doctors and nurses working within the Volunteering Emirati Medical Team, led by UAE cardiac surgeon Dr. Adel Al Shamri, to provide free services in Bangladesh, adding that the door is now open for them to register for volunteering works to assuage the suffering of the elderly people and children among the Rohingya refugees there.

The "Doctors of Giving Programme" will allow participants to join humanitarian missions of mobile caravan clinics and hospitals in the country.

The gesture is in line with the "Year of Giving" initiatives to ease the suffering of the underprivileged people around the world.
