Yemen's Islah Party (YIP), the Yemeni wing of the Muslim Brotherhood group, strongly condemned Houthis' "brutal attacks".
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the YIP expressed regret and sadness on both civilian and military victims. "The blood that was spilled is the blood of our sons and brothers".
The statement praised the officers and individuals who have faced such "acts of barbarism" and resisted steadfastly and bravely, since the first attack on the capital.
"They performed their patriotic, constitutional and legal duty for defense of the legitimacy and protect the institutions and leaders of the state, where some of them died and the rest were a symbol of stability and the championship that will remain in the memory of all generations".
