Foreign Minister Jamal al-Salal met on Sunday in New York with Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdul Latif al-Zayani ,on sidelines of the 69th Session of the UN General Assembly.
In the meeting, al-Salal and al-Zayani discussed the latest developments in Yemen.
The Secretary-General of the GCC confirmed that the leaders of the GCC countries stand by Yemen and support President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi's efforts to maintain unity, security and stability of Yemen.
Dr. al-Zayani called on all parties in Yemen to give priority to the national interest and complete the transitional political process and implement the outcomes of the national dialogue conference.
