Salafist al-Watan Party withdrew on Wednesday from the so-called the National Alliance to Support Legitimacy.
In a press release, the party stressed that it would continue its political struggle in a peaceful manner.
It also called for forming an entity that comprises all political groups in Egypt as part of ongoing endeavors to build a sound democratic system.
