Chairman of the higher committee for humanitarian aid, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman

The Vice - President of the Republic and chairman of the higher committee for humanitarian aid, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman, has asserted the necessity of continuation of delivery of humanitarian assistances to South Sudan State before the rainy season .
This came when Hassabo met Monday at the Republican Palace the Humanitarian Aid Commissioner (HAC), Ahmed Mohammed Adam, who briefed the Vice - President on the situation of the progress of humanitarian aid operations to the State of South Sudan .
The HAC has pointed out that the Vice - President gave directives for removing all obstacles hindering the delivery of humanitarian assistances to the State of South Sudan, explaining that arrangements were made in cooperation with the World Food Program (WFP) to purchase sorghum from Sudan and facilitate the delivery of food items to the State of South Sudan toward reducing the influxes of southern refugees into the country .
