Voluntary work award

The final ceremony of the Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al-Khalifa Award for Voluntary Work was held today. Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa patronized the fourth edition of the annual ceremony and honoured the award winners, in the presence of delegations representing voluntary work associations from seventeen Arab countries.
The Good Word Society is organizing the event in cooperation with the Arab Voluntary Work Union, an affiliate of the Arab League. An operetta showcasing aspects of voluntary work in Bahrain was shown on the sidelines on award distribution ceremony.
Patronising the event, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa stressed the importance of promoting voluntary work and supporting noble values in Arab societies.
He paid tribute to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa for his directives and role as architect of Bahrain’s landmark development strides, underscoring the importance of the Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al-Khalifa Award for Voluntary Work.
