National Bank of Egypt

A group of unidentified men on Thursday attacked a money transfer vehicle in the Upper Egypt Minya province's city of Samalut and stole EGP 1.5 million belonging to the National Bank of Egypt.
The robbers attacked the car on the desert road during its trip from Cairo to Minya and Qena provinces.
The driver of the vehicle was injured and moved to hospital in a critical condition.
Security forces started investigations to identify culprits and bring them to justice.
