The strong international participation in the International Conference "Invest in Tunisia, Start-up democracy" reflects the "support of political and economic partners" for the process of political transition and economic recovery efforts in the country, Tunisian Prime minister Mehdi Jomâa stressed on Monday.
Jomâa, who welcomed the support of all partners and the international community for the process of democratic transition in Tunisia, said in a speech at the opening of the Conference that this transition marks "the beginning of a new stage in the process of economic recovery in Tunisia."
Primarily intended to "rebuild trust" of economic partners and foreign investors in business opportunities, the conference also aims at "sealing strong new economic partnerships," Jomâa stated.
The Tunisian Premier also discussed the action plan developed and implemented by the Government to boost economic and social development, which will be presented at the conference.
