Spokesman for the Islamist Ennahda party Ziyad al-Adhari said his party has no problem with Nidaa Tounes Party which came first, according to early results, in the parliamentary elections held Sunday.
In press statements, Adhari expected the difference between his party and the Nidaa Tounes to range between 12 and 15 seats, calling for the formation of a national unity government.
Press reports had said the Nidaa Tounes party is expected to win around 80 of 217 seats, with the governing Ennahda party taking 70.
Ennahda officials have conceded defeat.
