Cairo - MENA
The Arab popular movement party (Tamarod), pending establishment, called Saturday on the government to activate the Economic Council for central and Upper Egyptian provinces and the Red Sea province.
The party also urged the government to reconsider the decision of redrawing borders of the Red Sea province, pointing out that such a decision was "unavailing".
Residents of the Red Sea province had objective reasons to refuse remapping their province, said spokesman for Tamarod Mohamed Nabawi.
