The Egyptian Center for Public Opinion Research "Baseera" said that 82 percent of Egyptians are satisfied with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's performance after 26 months in office.
The center's director, Dr. Maged Othman, said that six percent of the respondents could not estimate the president's performance.
According to the survey, those who are satisfied with the president's performance, cited his main achievements, topped by the New Suez Canal, the improvement of security and the establishment of new roads and bridges.
It added that price hikes, unemployment and the raise in the US dollar exchange rate against the Egyptian pound are the reasons behind other respondents' non-satisfaction with the president's performance.
