Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman

Vice President of the Republic and Chairman of the National Congress Political Sector Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman, has rejected the opposition's call for an interim government, indicating that those who call for a transitional government know that they cannot achieve government via elections, therefore they seek an exceptional situation.
In his addressing Saturday to the Political Sector Conference in Khartoum State, Hassabo considered the national dialogue one basic issues, stressing that the National Congress considers receiving assistance from alien sectors a national betrayal.
He emphasized that the elections will constitutionally be held as scheduled in May 1st, adding that the state will provide the guarantees for the dialogue.
He referred to available freedom ceiling in Sudan as there are 90 political parties, adding that there isn't any country in the world that have such a big number of parties.
He explaining that the National Congress wants freedom that are based on the national principles not a freedom of chaos and agent work, stressing National Congress capability to overcome conspiracies.

Meanwhile, Hassabo affirmed Sudan keenness to implement all the cooperation agreements with South Sudan on ground that Juba is a strategic depth for Khartoum and Vice -versa.
