Sudanese Defence Minister Abdel Rahim Mohamed Hussein returned Wednesday home after a several-day official visit to Qatar.
The Sudanese minister's visit came after receiving an invitation from his Qatari counterpart Hamad bin Ali Al-Attiyah, where they discussed enhancing bilateral ties in various fields, especially military one.
Asked at Khartoum Airport about his visit to Doha, Hussein described it as "successful", noting he extended Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir's greetings to Qatar's emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
During the visit, both sides signed an agreement on military cooperation between the two countries.
