The Public Prosecution-Special Investigation Unit (SIU) had received in last September four complaints of ill-treatment and another on allegation of torture that was referred by the Secretariat of Ombudsman, SIU member Mohammed Al-Hazza' announced.
He said that the SIU had launched investigation into the claims and listened to the complainants' statements and the necessary actions taken thereon, but investigation is still ongoing.
