President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed on Wednesday Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab and Health Minister Adel Adawy to head for Beheira crash scene to follow up situation on the ground, said Presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef.
Sisi has earlier ordered the dispatch of a medical helicopter to carry the wounded of the accident.
At least 10 students of Orman School were killed and 18 others wounded when their bus collided with three vehicles on the Cairo-Alexandria agricultural road earlier in the day.
The bodies of the students were charred.
