President Abdel-Fattah El Sisi issued a decision Monday authorizing the Armed Forces to help police in defending public and vital facilities for two years.
As per the decision, attacks on public and vital facilities should be probed by the military prosecution and perpetrators should be tried at military courts based on the decision.
The decision was made after consultation with the National Defense Council and approval of the Cabinet.
