Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said he will meet later today with the Arab League chief to crystallize a vision when meeting with the US side.
The most important thing is to end the bloodshed and start the reconstruction of Gaza under an international sponsorship, Abbas said.
The talks with Hamas were based on the belief that the Egyptian ceasefire initiative was the only to be adopted and that no other side can replace Egypt's role.
Egypt will invite the Palestinian negotiating team, led by Azzam al-Ahmad, and all factions to discuss truce efforts.
