His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth, Honorary President of the Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation, Founder of Khalid Bin Hamad Mixed Martial Arts Organisation (KHK MMA) watched the official weight check for the fighters participating in the BRAVE 4 Championship for Professional MMA Fighters. 
The weight check was conducted in Zayed Sports City for 26 fighters, including KHK MMA fighter, Atif Mohamed and attended by Mohamed Shahid, CEO of KHK MMA Organisation and BRAVE Combat Federation President, Abu Dhabi MMA fan, technical and administrative members, a large number of international, UAE and Arab media, in addition to enthusiasts of the sport.
HH Shaikh Khalid expressed his joy with the serious preparation of the fighters and their spark of competitiveness displayed before the fights, which reflects on their keenness to deliver the best performances in this edition. His Highness stressed his confidence with the high combat performance that will be seen in the championship, which will turn it into a success, he wished everyone all the success.
"We are confident that BRAVE 4 in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi will be more successful, given the great willingness to host this championship, thanks to the strong desire of the UAE Jiu Jitsu Federation for contributing to the success of this event, which reflects on the keenness of the Federation to strengthen cooperation with KHK MMA, which contributes to a fruitful partnership to support combat sports in the region, especially mixed martial arts," he said.
HH Shaikh Khalid pointed out that the aim of the championship is to continue its tour around the world, which strengthens the success of the Bahraini experience by launching this world championship and contributes to reinforcing Bahrain's position on the global sports map, translating the vision and directives of HM the King, to strengthen Bahrain's international reputation and to recognize its achievements at various levels, especially in the field of sports.
HH Shaikh Khalid said that the efforts to advance Bahraini MMA will continue, after it asserted itself on the global arena, thanks to the support of the wise leadership and the development plans set by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, that aims to develop the youth and sports sector, which contributes in bringing more honourable results in championships.
The fighters took a commemorative photo with HH Shaikh Khalid who later inspected the site of the championships and was assured on the progress of the work and the readiness of the arena to embrace the fights.
The fourth edition of BRAVE Championship matches, organized BRAVE Combat Federation which emanated from KHK MMA Orgnisation, starts today at 6PM UAE timing. 
BRAVE Combat Federation has adopted a "Championship Belt" in this edition as implementation to the directives by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The fight for the title will be between Algerian fighter, Elias Boudegzdame who will face Mexican fighter, Masio Fullen.
The records of the fighters are as follows, Elias has achieved 13 victories and 4 lsoses, and Fullen has achieved 12 victories and 6 losses. The competition between them will be fierce as they both possess high combat abilities and skills.
Forty-eight countries from around the world will follow BRAVE 4, with live and direct broadcast through five global channels - OSN Middle East, CBN ABS at the level of Southeast Asian countries, MYX TV for the Untied States, CLARO TV at the level of South American countries and Brazilian COMBATE.
As part of the partnership between the media office of His Highness Shaikh Khalid and Abu Dhabi Sports Channel, the channel was keen to accept the invitation of the Media Office to broadcast the BRAVE 4 championship live. This confirmed the channel's keenness to support the success of this event, which reflects on the aspirations of His Highness Shaikh Khalid to highlight and spread the championship at an international level.
The fighters stressed their readiness to fight in the fourth edition, adding that they had finished all preparations for the championship, pointing out that it will be a strong championship due to the closeness of the participants’ level. They valued the care and support of His Highness Shaikh Khalid to the sports of Mixed Martial Arts and giving them the opportunity to participate in one of the strongest international championships for professional fighters.
Algerian Fighter Elias Boudegzdame said: "I am very happy to participate and I hope to deliver a performance that will achieve my first title in the championship. The fight against Mexican fighter, Masio Fullen will not be easy, but I finished my preparations and I am ready to fight.
"This is one of the most prestigious international championships for professional fighters, thanks to His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who dedicated his efforts to support professional fighters and the sport. I express my thanks and gratitude for the efforts exerted by His Highness. I hope for more success to this championship which will reflect the aspirations of His Highness for it to spread worldwide."
Atef Mohamed, KHK MMA Organisation fighter said: "The competition will be strong in this championship because there are fighters who have similar combat levels. I hope that I will achieve a new victory in the records of my achieved victories. I would like to thank His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his unlimited support to Bahraini MMA, giving us the opportunity and pushing us to practice this sport in a perfect atmosphere.
