Honorary President of the Good Word Society Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa held a meeting with the society board Chairman and members to follow up on preparations for his award for voluntary work "Shaikh Isa Award for Voluntary Work" and associated programmes.
Shaikh Isa thanked the society Chairman, members and all affiliates for their dedicated efforts to serve voluntary work, stressing the importance to continue launching initiatives aimed at promoting the culture of voluntary work which is derived from the Arab and Islamic customs and values.
On his part, Mr. Hassan Bu Hazza, the Good Word Society Board Chairman, thanked Shaikh Isa for his relentless efforts to develop the society's activities, pointing out that the meeting brought under the spotlight the society's present and future programmes.
