Senior Fatah Central Committee member Azam al-Ahmad has praised Egypt's role played in bringing an end to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Egypt has seriously committed to the Palestinian demands, Ahmed stressed during a series of meetings with foreign diplomats.
Ahmad described as "new and serious" the experience of the Palestinian delegation, which was in Cairo for negotiations over a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
During the meetings, Ahmad reviewed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the size of destruction caused by the Israeli occupation during the aggression.
