He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The Peace Brigades has prepared a plan to enter Amerli from several directions and lift the siege imposed by the Islamic State more than two months ago in coordination with the military intelligence and military forces as well as the volunteers of the popular mobilization, stressing that Iraqi warplanes back progressing toward Amerli. "
He added, "The Peace Brigades and security forces will deliver supplies and food to the people of Amerli after lifting the siege in coordination with the Ministry of Commerce that we asked it to provide the ration supplies to the locals as this falls within their competence."
It is mentioned that massive military operation to lift the siege on Amerli district in Salahuddin province began yesterday with the participation army, Peace Brigades and the volunteers of the Popular Mobilization.
Amerli area, of Tuz in Salahuddin province was besieged by elements of the Islamic State (IS) more than 70 days ago, and its population is suffering from difficult situations because of this blockade.
