Lebanese security forces discovered large amounts of explosives hidden near the house of General Security Director Brigadier Abbas Ibrahim, in the southern Kawtharia Al-Siad area, Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) said Friday.
The agency said the explosives and substances were wrapped up in nylon bags, and were hidden in three parts around the residence.
The discovery of explosives were TNTs, hand grenades, timers, and ammunition.
Recently, Lebanese security forces arrested Syrians admitting they were planning to blow up the brigadier house.
