Suez security bodies stepped up their presence in main squares, around governmental institutions and ports, and the southern entrance of the Suez Canal on Friday.
Security roadblocks were erected at the entrances and exits of the governorate with police and army forces patrolling the streets continuously, Suez security chief Tareq el-Gazzar said.
