Minya police arrested three suspects who have been involved in unauthorized protests.
The trio were also accused of instigating violence and riots in the Upper Egyptian province.
This comes as part of a security campaign to arrest outlaws and prevent the spread of unlicensed weapons.
The campaign led to the arrest of four people on suspicion of possessing drugs for sale.
