Lebanese army stepped up security at all entrances to Ain Helwa camp of Palestinian refugees in the south of Lebanon following a bomb explosion.
A grenade exploded near a checkpoint of the Lebanese army but no casualties were reported.
Palestinian security forces inside the camp, which was built in 1948 and now houses 70,000 refugees, reinforced their presence to defuse any tension.
