North Sinai security agencies have detonated an explosive device planted by terrorists on el-Arish International Airport road.
No injuries were reported.
In a statement, the security agencies said: "An explosive charge was planted by terrorists targeting the security forces. It was detected and detonated."
The security forces combed the area to arrest those involved, the statement added.
